Lockdown 2.0

Nearly two weeks into lockdown, and I've been spending a lot of time walking my dog, going on bike rides and drawing.

My dog, Pepsi, is nearly 10 years old so his daily walks of usually an hour have been tiring him out so much that he likes to take himself to bed before 8pm every night. You can enjoy one the many pictures of him sleeping which I seem to suddenly have a lot of.

I have also been doing a large amount of drawing, and spent yesterday morning drawing some of my favourite dogs from my favourite shows. See if you can guess what shows/books/movies all these dogs are from!

Hope everyone is staying safe and well at home!

  1. Morena Sofiya!

Thanks so much for your comment :) I usually go riding in the port hills but I haven't been able to do that during lockdown as it isn't my local area so I've just been doing loops around to Halswell quarry or Prebbleton. McLean's Island is very fun to ride around!

I'm glad you enjoyed my art! I would love to do some with your class when we get back into school.

Pepsi is a cavoodle (cavalier/poodle), I will definitely be posting more images of him! Do you have any pets?

Hope you are staying safe and well!

Fitness Challenge!

I really enjoy exercising and challenging myself to get stronger and more and more fit. Physical activity is so important and has so many benefits to your health and wellbeing. But not only that, regular exercise also boosts self-esteem, relieves stress and tension and reduces the chance of many health conditions.  You can get exercise in many different ways, and just 30 minutes a day is enough to get the positive effects. You could go on a walk, play some rugby in the backyard, have a dance party, absolutely anything that gets your body moving.  Today I set up a wee gym circuit in the backyard to challenge you to. Set up 5 stations and see how fast you can complete 2 rounds.  Stop 1 (I used a mat because the grass was a bit wet, but you could do this inside too!): 10 press ups then 10 sit ups Stop 2: 10 star jumps Stop 3: 10 arm lifts with something you can find around the house. I used cans of food but get as creative as possible! Stop 4: 10 high knees Stop 5: 10 butt k...
